Meet Pete.
My aim is to make songs that speak honestly to the bittersweet nature of life, and offer hard-earned perspective that others may grab onto to in a time of need, or to simply not feel alone.
If one song I put out offers safe harbor to one person to keep them going one more day, I will have been successful as an artist.
The bulk of my life has been spent feeling out of place in my own skin and trying to remedy that feeling. Since I was able to turn on a turntable, music has always been my safe space.
At this point in my life, I finally am starting what it feels like to be “me.” This record is very much the story of that journey culminating with the title track.
Hopefully, you can listen, find yourself in the journey, and follow the path to what it means to be you. That is the version of you this world most needs.
